Getting started with ZenMate 5 for OSX (Install and Login)

Before starting, please make sure you meet the minimum system requirements in order to proceed with the installation.

System requirements:

• Mac OS X 10.12 (Sierra) or newer OS
• At least 70 Megabytes of free hard drive space

Step 1: Download the installation file

Step 2: Double click on the installation file to get started. During this process you will need to accept the terms and conditions and your operating system will require you to enter your apple ID and password. IMPORTANT: this information is not requested by ZenMate, it's your own operating system that needs a confirmation in order to install the app.

After the installation you will be asked if you allow ZenMate VPN to run on your machine. Make sure to select allow. If you select deny, the VPN connection will be blocked by your system.

Step 3: Login if you already have an account or create one if you don't.

If you already have an account: 

Simply start the app from your menu bar. Next you'll be asked for your Username (Email) and your password.

If you don't have an account:

Click on "Sign up" in the lower part of the interface.

You'll be asked for a valid email address and to select a password. This is needed in order to create an account and for trial confirmation. 

Next you'll receive an email to confirm your email address and also benefit from our 7 day trial. Once you've confirmed the email, open the ZenMate VPN interface again, go to the Login screen and enter your newly created credentials.
